Down syndrome, like other syndromes associated with mental pathology that occur and develop
in childhood and/or adolescence, often prevent the normal adaptation of the individual in society.
Children with Down syndrome are often anxious, timid, misunderstand the intentions of others,
and therefore misinterpret them and react inappropriately; social skills in such children are often
underdeveloped. Detachment from peers and social isolation can reduce the effectiveness of rehabilitation
programs for children with Down syndrome and deepen cognitive and affective deficits
in children with this disease.
The aim of the study was to determine the level of social adaptation depending on the ability
to verbal communication in children with Down syndrome.
The research was carried out on the basis of the National Medical Center of ZOR, 97 children
with Down's syndrome were thoroughly examined. The patients were divided into two groups
according
to the criterion of the ability to verbal communication: group 1 (G1) included 77 children
capable of verbal communication, group 2 (G2) — 20 children who do not speak.
As a result of the research, the level of social adaptation was determined depending on the ability
to verbal communication in children with Down syndrome. Both in G1 and in G2, a normal
level of adaptability, emotional comfort and manageability was revealed, which generally indicates
a feeling of inner peace in a familiar environment and a high level of satisfaction with one's own
microsocial environment. In G1 and G2, there was a decrease in the indicators of maladjustment,
self-rejection, rejection of others, emotional discomfort, which can be interpreted as a decrease
in the level of criticism of both oneself and others in both groups, regardless of the ability to speak.
In G1, significantly higher levels of self-acceptance and internal control were found, which indicates
higher self-esteem and the ability to independently solve difficult life situations in children with
Down syndrome who are able to speak. In G2, a significant decrease in indicators of external control
and escapism was established, which may be the result of a more gentle and careful attitude
towards children with Down syndrome who are not capable of verbal communication.2023-01-01T00:00:00ZОсобливості регуляції водно-сольового обміну та варіабельності серцевого ритму у жінок при екстракорпоральному заплідненніЛецин, Денис Валерійовичhttp://dspace.zsmu.edu.ua/handle/123456789/197362023-11-22T11:44:26Z2019-01-01T00:00:00ZНазвание: Особливості регуляції водно-сольового обміну та варіабельності серцевого ритму у жінок при екстракорпоральному заплідненні

Аннотация: Aim: The aim of the work is to improve the results of early
diagnosis of acute infectious kidney diseases at the molecular
level in urolithiasis (urinary stone disease) through the study of
enzymatic test indicators.
Materials and methods: Enzymatic tests (NGAL, IL-1β,
β2-microglobulin) were investigated at the molecular level
using the IFA method in the urine of patients with urolithiasis.
Comparative and prognostic significance of the conducted
treatment was established between the groups of patients, and
an algorithm was developed based on the results of kidney
damage predictors.
Results: It was found that the indicators of general laboratory
analysis in patients with urolithiasis within the first 24-48
hours do not reliably indicate the absence of an infectiousinflammatory
process in the kidneys and the development
of renal failure. It was determined that an increase in the
inflammation predictor indicators in more than 50% of
patients indicates the development of infectious-inflammatory
complications within the first 12-24 hours before the occurrence
of general laboratory and clinical changes. The assessment of
the effectiveness of conservative therapy in groups IA and II
revealed that complications of the inflammatory process in the
kidneys were observed five times more frequently in group II
(comparison) than in group IA.2023-01-01T00:00:00ZParent-child relations in families that bring up down syndrome childrenSuhonos, O. Аннотация: Down syndrome children need special attention. As long as the illness is often accompanied by mental disorders, there should be an individual approach to child in upbringing and education. This compels parents to adjust their rhythm of life in accordance with child's needs. Difficulties in raising a child with special needs can lead to a deterioration in the attitude of parents towards the child. This comes out in the behavior of parents and leaves an imprint on the psychological state of the child, his character and subsequent life. Materials and methods: 97 Down syndrome children were examined. All patients met the inclusion criteria. The patients' parents gave informed consent to the participation in the study. Down syndrome in children has been genetically verified. Patients were divided into two groups according to the criterion of ability to verbal communication: group 1 (G1) included 77 children capable of verbal communication, group 2 (G2) – 20 children who did not speak. Individualization in the most of both groups respondents was at an average level, which indicated sufficient parents’ acceptance of the individual characteristics of the child, sufficient attention to his interests, satisfaction with the time spent together.
